Kim Soo Hyun One of the highest paid actor in South Korea recently held a highly anticipated fan meet in Manila as part of his “2024 Kim Soo Hyun Asia Tour ‘EYES ON YOU’. The event took place on June 29, 2024, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, drawing a large crowd of enthusiastic fans. This tour marks Hyun’s first Asia tour in 10 years, thrilling his fans who eagerly awaited his visit.
This fan meet follows his previous visits to the Philippines for other fan events and endorsements, highlighting his strong connection with his Filipino fan base. It was a significant event for Kim Soo Hyun and his Filipino fans, further strengthening his status as a top Hallyu star.
Fans who attended were treated to an evening of interaction, performances, and exclusive fan benefits. All attendees received event posters, while VIP ticket holders received a VIP ID and lanyard.

The moment, a video chronicling Soo hyun’s works played the deafening shouts echoed in the venue and it reaches its epitome with the actor’s emergence on the stage.
He greeted his charming Filipino fans by speaking in the local language, “Kamusta ka? Ako ay si Kim Soo-hyun. Magandang gabi (How are you? I’m Kim Soo-hyun. Good evening)”. He also surprised his fans with the Fillipino slang.
Kim Soo-hyun also found himself emotionally overwhelmed, tearing up at the sight of his Filipino fans whose faces beamed with smiles because of the South Korean heartthrob. “It’s because all of you look like you’re smiling,” he explained through an interpreter after briefly turning away to wipe his tears. “Looking at the smiles, I couldn’t help but cry, I got emotional.”
He enthusiastically talked about his Instagram-posts with captions that he regularly posts and how he felt during filming certain scenes of “Queen of Tears”.
Fans also created a video for their beloved actor that was played during the show.
He concluded the meet with his rendition of “Way Home,” a promise to his fans to return to the country within the year. He said, “This year, I think I’ll be coming back to the Philippines once again. See you then,”
His recent work “Queen of Tears,” achieved record-breaking ratings, added to the excitement surrounding his tour. The actor’s previous works, such as “My Love from the Star” and “It’s Okay Not to Be Okay,” have also contributed to his growing popularity among fans.
